Human Resrouces Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday)

Compensation: Chicago: $80K OT $10K bonus

Duration: Two-Year Program

Overview:

An industry-leading firm is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join its team. This structured two-year development program provides hands-on experience in multiple facets of Human Capital Management, with a primary focus on Recruiting (75%) and additional exposure to areas such as Campus Recruitment, Compensation, HR Operations, Data Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations (25%).

The firm is looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to build a career in Human Resources. Throughout the program, participants will receive continuous feedback and guidance to track their progress and determine potential opportunities beyond the two-year period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the interview scheduling process and coordinate candidate logistics.
  • Facilitate candidate progression through interviews, offers, and background screening.
  • Assist in planning and executing on-campus and in-office recruiting events.
  • Complete a Behavioral Interview Skills certification to enhance talent assessment abilities.
  • Gain proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, V-Lookups, formulas, and data visualization.
  • Support key HR projects related to Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and other HR functions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure a seamless interview process.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, Recruiting, or Administrative roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-first, high-performance culture.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus (Greenhouse preferred).
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (Prelude, ModernLoop, Goodtime, etc.) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.


Interview Process:

  1. Application submission and assessment.
  2. Initial Zoom interview.
  3. Operational interview and problem-solving discussion.
  4. Final interviews covering teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
  5. Onsite office tour and final interview with leadership.
