Title: Recruitment Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Hybrid: 1–2 days in-office weekly)

Location: Chicago, IL

Compensation: $31 - $35.50/hour


Job Summary

Are you looking to launch or grow your career in HR and recruiting? Our client is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator for a 6-month contract position with the potential to convert permanently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to building a world-class talent acquisition team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and internal recruiting teams, playing a key part in driving the hiring process and managing candidate pipelines. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, intellectually curious, and excited to learn.


Responsibilities

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule phone, video, and in-person interviews, working with candidates, recruiters, and executive assistants.
  • Candidate Management: Track candidates in the applicant tracking system (Workday) and provide timely updates to recruiters and hiring teams.
  • Feedback Management: Liaise with hiring teams to gather interview feedback and determine next steps for candidates.
  • Process Improvement: Create and maintain candidate trackers, streamline communication processes, and suggest enhancements for efficiency.
  • Project Support: Assist with intern programs, entry-level hiring initiatives, and other HR/recruiting projects.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Support the pre-onboarding process, including preparing offer letters and coordinating with candidates.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.


Experience:

  • 1 years of professional experience, preferably in HR or recruiting, OR strong campus involvement (e.g., student organizations, athletics).
  • Previous internship or full-time experience in a professional environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred). Basic Excel skills are a plus.
