Assistant Director of Boarding Admissions
The Office of Admissions at North Broward Preparatory School invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month position of Assistant Director of Boarding Admissions. This person will report directly to the Director of Admissions and Marketing, and join an admission team that currently consists of seven staff members: 3 day admission officers, a Boarding Admissions Manager, an Admissions Coordinator, a Marketing Manager, a Communications Manager and a Director of Admissions and Marketing. This is a full-time nonteaching faculty position. The Assistant Director of Boarding Admissions assists in meeting the boarding enrollment goals through marketing, recruiting, and assisting prospective boarding families through the admission process. This position will also assist in the coordination of marketing and recruitment efforts by domestic travel, ensuring appropriate follow-up to prospective families to ensure stated enrollment objectives are met. Candidate will provide accurate information and counseling regarding educational opportunities to prospective boarding parents in a variety of settings, on and off campus. Candidate will assess academic credentials of students and use good judgment in administering admission decisions based on a thorough understanding of North Broward Preparatory School’s admission policies.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages specific marketing and direct boarding recruitment efforts for assigned prospective/applicant pool including, but not limited to, middle school and high school visitations, presentations to clubs and organizations, participation in related recruitment events and travel (days, evenings and weekends).
- Works with admissions colleagues and division leaders, to create an effective team and to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to enrolled student status.
- Reviews student files and evaluates transcripts, makes admissions recommendations, and updates information in school student database.
- Participates in developing goals and setting priorities desired to achieve the school’s enrollment goals.
- Collaborates with Assistant Directors of Admissions to ensure consistent and accurate recruitment and marketing efforts.
- Manages caseloads of boarding prospects and applicants. Interviews and counsels prospective boarding families.
- Develops and implements creative approaches for recruiting both on and off campus.
- Builds relationships with prospective students, parents, school counselors and advisors.
- Ensures timely processing of inquiries gained from recruitment efforts.
- Maintains contact and provides superior customer service with prospective families from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment.
- Collaborate with Boarding Admissions Managers across Nord Anglia Education campuses regarding multi-school applicants and transfer students along with the Global Recruitment Team colleagues when applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions
- Prepares dashboards and reports in CRM and assists management in special projects.

- Assist in the SEVIS process and international admission process when needed.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
- One year (1) or more of progressive admissions, enrollment management and/or marketing work experience.
- Must be able to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Minimum two (2) years admissions, enrollment management and/or marketing work experience in an education setting.
- Excellent knowledge and experience working with admissions technology systems, including troubleshooting and interpretation of reports.
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
