Billing Specialist| Full-Time

Description

The lead biller position is responsible for performing all operations necessary to bill payers within their assigned accounts for claims and then ensure that all payments are received within the billing cycle timeframe. Monitor patient accounts working with payers through the claim processing to ensure accurate reimbursement. The lead position will assist billing management and provide training on Revenue Cycle to other areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years with bookkeeping or accounting experience
• 10-key experience
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression
• Ability to use sound judgement and cope with potentially stressful situations
