Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Director is responsible for the leadership of personnel, quality, equipment and administration of all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging (“DI”) while partnering with clinicians to provide imaging services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiographic Science from an accredited university required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Demonstrated progressive clinical and management experience (5 years minimum).
- Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, medical center administration, public and external agencies.
- Skills in conflict resolution.
- Demonstrates a strong clinical knowledge base, in the profession of Diagnostic Imaging.
- Experience with quality assurance projects and knowledge of their application in a health care environment.
- Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension and expression.
- Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing customer and department needs.
- Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g. integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence).
