Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide secure exam delivery and superior customer service, understands and complies with all testing procedures and protocols. Checks in examinees, verifies identification, and explains the exam process; monitors examinees while testing is in progress and communicates with internal departments to investigate and fix technical issues; strictly adheres to testing policies using careful judgement; coordinate, plan, and administer off-site testing; obtain required certifications as a Test Center employee; respond to phone, email, and in-person request in a timely manner, maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of records and test; analyze placement scores to determine appropriate placements and ensure that customer service interactions comply with FERPA guidelines. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of Student Banner or an equivalent system; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Applications; knowledge of coordinating and managing projects; knowledge of office and record management; knowledge of assessing and evaluating programs; knowledge of writing reports; knowledge of placement testing; ability to work in collaborative environments using shared data sources and online applications; ability to critically think and analyze data; ability to critically think and analyze data; ability to work independently with little or no supervision; to take initiative to see projects and assignments through to completion; to learn, interpret and analyze information to make necessary decisions; to exercise judgment and discretion in problem solving; to plan, prioritize and organize workflow; ability to work flexible schedules; excellent analytical and organizational skills along with written and oral communication skills, excellent editing skills; great interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of individuals in a high pressure environment. Minimum Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
