The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking a Full-Time Production and Technology Manager.
The ideal candidate will balance technical know-how with the ability to help manage full-time and freelance staff. This individual will help guide productions for both teams through their equipment expertise and knowledge of best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of broadcast control rooms and staffing needs to execute live event production, hardware and software troubleshooting, and IT principles related to broadcasts. This individual will possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work efficiently on short deadlines in high-pressure situations, including balancing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and teaching all broadcast staff including full-time, part-time, and freelance staff, and communicating best practices and workflows.
- Evaluate the suitability of hardware and software to support business and broadcast objectives. Recommend and implement incremental upgrades.
- Works together with internal departments in terms of requirements, event schedules, and production needs to meet desired outcomes.
- Collaboration, installation, and integration of IT-centric workflows within both broadcast and office environments.
- On-site support for live sporting and broadcast events. Troubleshooting and remedying any issues as they arise in real-time.
- Perform problem-solving and maintenance to support maximum uptime, often in a live, high-pressure environment.
- Monitor and manage the Office 365 Admin workspace. Maintain the security of Office 365 and network in both an office and stadium environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast or Media Production, Communications, or a related technology field.
- 2 years of experience in supporting computer hardware, networks, and Mac/PC operating systems.
- 3 years of multimedia experience inclusive of live event and broadcast production.
- Able to initiate daily assignments, follow through on matters of concern, use independent discernment to take appropriate actions, and escalate when appropriate.
- Solid attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and resolution skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in all Company-provided hardware and software, including Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Proficient in Ross Video production equipment including Xpression CG and Carbonite Switchers. Proficient in Click Effects Crossfire and Blaze products. Proficient with replay systems such as 3Play, Grass Valley K2 Dyno, and Evertz DreamCatcher.
