POSITION: Science Teacher – Rockingham YDC
LOCATION: Rockingham County, NC
WORK YEAR: Full-time (12 months/year)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly Qualified valid "A" or "M" NC teaching license in middle or high school Science, OR eligibility for a NCDPI-issued license in Middle School or High School Science.
- Experience providing instruction with effective classroom management.
- Ability to establish rapport with students and work collaboratively with families and staff.
- Experience implementing IEP modifications and maintaining student records.

**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
The Science Teacher at Rockingham Youth Development Center will provide instruction to students in science, utilizing Common Core State Standards and NC Essential Skills. The role also involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to plan student services and treatment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
