What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Education Teacher position at North Carolina Driving School?
Part Time Driver Education Instructor needed in Guilford County.

$22-$25 per hour for incar instruction.
AND/or both
Teaching a 30 hour in-person class pays $900
Teaching a 30 hour (two week) virtual class pays $900.
classrooms are 10 days for 3 hours a day.
Driver ed is afterschool most of the year. 3-4 hours a day 4-5 days a week. (September-May)
Hours are during the day during the summer. (June, July, August)
Must be 25 years of age.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must take an 80 hour (two week) certification course.
We pay for Instructor course ($250). We reimburse for fuel. (travel to and from Class and Hotel if you have to travel over 2 hours)
Responsibilities include teaching High School Freshman a 30 classroom course.
Teach each student that completes the classroom 6 hours of in-car behind the wheel training.
Must have at least 4 years of experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle. Must have not been convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude in the last ten years. Must not have any revocation or suspension of license in the last 5 years. Must have graduated from High School or have High School equivalency certificate. Must not have convictions for moving violations totaling 5 points in the last 5 years.
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal background check must be completed prior to hiring.
