The NC Courage and North Carolina FC is seeking an experienced and innovative Digital Marketing Sr. Coordinator to lead email marketing and website management efforts. This role involves developing and executing email campaigns that engage and grow the fan base, optimizing the website for user experience and performance, and ensuring cohesive digital storytelling across platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing strategy, analytics, and content management systems, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Responsibilities include creating data-driven campaigns, managing website updates and enhancements, and collaborating across departments to deliver impactful digital experiences that elevate the NC Courage brand.

- Email Campaign Creation: Design and execute email marketing campaigns that promote ticket sales, merchandise, team news, and fan engagement opportunities. Work closely with the marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure campaigns align with the club’s objectives and branding.
- Audience Segmentation & Targeting: Develop and maintain segmented email lists based on fan behavior, demographics, and engagement levels. Ensure that emails are tailored to the specific needs and interests of different fan groups, such as Season Ticket Members, casual fans, new fans, and corporate partners.
- Content Development & Copywriting: Create compelling email content that resonates with the NC Courage fanbase, including ticket offers, game day promotions, player highlights, community events, and sponsorship activations. Ensure that content is clear, on-brand, and actionable.
- Performance Tracking & Analysis: Monitor the performance of email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall ROI. Use data to continually optimize campaigns, identify trends, and refine future strategies.
- Automation & Workflow Management: Build and manage email automation workflows, including welcome emails, game reminders, abandoned cart emails, A/B tests, and post-game thank you messages. Ensure timely delivery of all email communications in accordance with the marketing calendar.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining a clean and up-to-date email database, ensuring data integrity, opt-in/opt-out compliance, and accurate fan segmentation.
- Growth Plan: Develop strategies (beyond ticket sales) to gain new email subscribers.
Web Content & Management (30%)
- Web & Content Management: Utilize CMS tools (such as WordPress, Forge, or similar) to manage website content and updates. Ensure the platform is optimized for ease of use and scalability.
- SEO & SEM Strategy: Implement and track SEO strategies to drive organic traffic to
the website. Collaborate with the broader marketing team to incorporate paid search efforts (Google Ads, etc.) to complement organic traffic and increase visibility. - Landing Pages, Campaigns, and Forms: Develop and optimize landing pages for key marketing campaigns, ticket sales, and merchandise promotions, ensuring they are engaging and conversion-focused decisions. Form Building: Familiarity with WordPress Forms, Office Forms, Survey Monkey or similar and maintaining entries.
- Analytics & Reporting: Regularly monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), generating reports to assess user behavior, traffic sources, conversions, and overall site performance. Provide actionable insights to optimize site content and marketing efforts.
Project Management & Support (20%)
- Project Management Tools: Use tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to manage web-related tasks, campaigns, and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of updates and projects.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with other teams (Creative, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Ticketing, and Merchandise) to ensure consistency in messaging, design, and functionality across all digital properties. Align email campaigns with broader marketing and sales initiatives. Coordinate with community relations, sponsorship, and merchandise departments to promote relevant content.
- Content Calendar: Assist in the creation and management of a content calendar, ensuring that website updates, digital and email campaigns align with overall marketing objectives, including ticket launches, merchandise promotions, and key events.
- Event & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to support the promotion of special events, ticket sales, and fan engagement campaigns, ensuring the website is regularly updated with relevant information and promotional materials.

Preferred Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar EPS) WordPresss or Forge (or similar)
- Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM tactics
- Project Management (Asana, Monday.com, Trello or similar)
- HTML/CSS a plus but not required
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM laws
- Attention to detail and organization
- Strong copywriting skills
