Ticketing Initiatives Internship – Summer 2025 (May - August) - NC Courage and North Carolina FC (Paid Internship)
The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the NC Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (second division men’s pro soccer team playing in USL Championship), is seeking a organized and driven Ticketing Initiatives Intern to join our team and contribute to the success of our day to day ticketing sales. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports sales, analytics, data collection, and sales tracking, as we lead up to the execution of professional soccer game days. The Ticketing Initiatives Intern will work closely with the Ticketing team to support various initiatives aimed at enhancing the fan experience and driving sales campaigns.

The Ticketing Initiatives Intern will work closely with the Ticketing team to support various initiatives aimed at enhancing the fan experience and driving sales campaigns.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ticketing Department Support:
- Collaborate with ticketing leadership, attending weekly team meetings, taking notes, and providing solutions and action items for ticketing campaign issues and ideas.
- Assist in running Asana Boards, to capture and track sales analytics, to ensure the club sales are pacing on track.
Fan Engagement:
- Support the implementation of fan-focused initiatives to build a strong and loyal supporter base.
- Analyze trends and find bugs in new ticketing platforms, to ensure optimal user experience.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, partnership, communications, and community, to ensure seamless coordination leading to game days.
Ticketing Research:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and fan demographics to inform ticketing strategies.
- Research new ways to push sales with fans and spread brand awareness to new audiences.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Motivated college student - junior or senior - or recent college graduate, looking for part-time work.
- Degrees preferred in Sports Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Business Intelligence.
- Familiarity with Asana and/or other project management platforms preferred.
- Must be able to work out of our Raleigh office, 9am-5pm, Tuesday-Thursday. Optional availability on game days.
- Guaranteed 20-25 hours a week, with possibility to flex remote time throughout the summer.
- Must be enthusiastic about starting career in the sports industry, along with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Internship will begin in the beginning of May and can last either through mid-August or through the end of year.
