We’re looking for a Compliance Manager (Auto Liability Claims) in Raleigh, NC
Organization Information: North Carolina Reinsurance Facility (NCRF) a non-profit, unincorporated legal entity, ensures that all eligible risks can purchase auto liability insurance, ensures the right premiums are collected and the correct losses are paid, and minimizes the impact on policyholders and insurers in North Carolina. The NCRF reinsures about 1.25 million policies (~25%) of the North Carolina private passenger auto market with approximately $1.5 billion in revenues per year.
The Position: This role will be responsible for leading a compliance team with a primary focus on reviewing member company claims. You will need a flexible mindset, strong interpersonal communication skills, a desire to learn, effective problem-solving skills, and leadership ability.
Requirements:
· 15 years of auto liability claims experience
· 5 years of claims management experience
· Knowledge of both commercial and private passenger auto contracts preferred
· Experience with multiple carriers preferred
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the compliance business unit focused on member company claim reviews
· Assist the Director and COO in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the operation
· Duties also include identifying, establishing, maintaining, and monitoring comprehensive audit plans and making recommendations for future enhancements
· Interpretation of rules and statues in the process of making timely and effective decisions
· Serve as the Claims SME for the Facility
· Provide training and support for auditors as needed
