  • Must be able to read strips
  • Must be comfortable with cpap / bipap

    • Schedule Information

  • 12 hour shifts
  • 3 days per week
  • Shifts are 7-730
  • Occasionally weekend requirement
  • Occasionally holiday requirement

  • Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 04
  • Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Surgical patients (ortho, general, spinal, gender reassignment)

  • Are there tele / monitor techs on this unit? Yes, RN's read strips
  • Charge Nurse / House Supervisor? No, charge nurse does not take an assignment
  • Are there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios : Yes ratio is 1 : 12
  • RT Equipment : BiPap, Cpap
  • Scrub Color / Dress Code : RN's wear black scrubs, nursing assistants wear grey
  • Unit / Department specific orientation : Yes, 2-3 shifts; Nights every other weekend
