NC State Bookstore (Wolfpack Outfitters) seeks energetic, detail-oriented candidates to work with our Gameday Operations Division.
Duties will include :
- Manage events in the absence of managers and / or SHRA personnel. Responsible for ensuring all equipment, supplies, and inventory are accounted for and ready as needed.
- Supervise staff for the duration of the event, ensuring all protocols are followed correctly and consistently, and mistakes are minimized and corrected.
- Train student employees.
- Work on special projects assigned by Gameday Managers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, resolve concerns, and coach team to provide assertively friendly service.
- Assist with daily operations such as communicating operational and inventory needs to managers.
- Learn to operate Wolfpack Outfitters POS system.
- Operate State owned vehicle.
- Other duties may be assigned to ensure Wolfpack Outfitters’ needs are met. May be asked to assist in other departments / locations as necessary.
Excellent performance during this time may provide an opportunity to renew employment and / or advance.
This is an hourly position with a mandatory 32-day break at the end of 11 months.
