Job Description:
The Landscape Maintenance and Installation Tech performs various tasks related to lawn maintenance and installation, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing. This role requires the ability to work in an outdoor environment in all types of weather conditions and to operate various pieces of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on commercial and residential lawns.
- Operate various pieces of equipment, such as riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, push mowers, hand tools, backpack blowers, sprayers, string trimmers, and hard edgers.
- Assist with manual labor tasks as required by the supervisor or crew leader.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience with a commercial landscaping company is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and frequently.
- Ability to work with others and under supervision.
- Able to follow oral and/or written instructions from the supervisor or crew leader.
- Able to operate all maintenance equipment safely and proficiently.
- Able to work with environmental risks, such as heat, cold, bees, poison oak/ivy, etc.
