Landscape Maintenance Technician Wanted
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Maintenance and Installation Tech to join our team at North Carolina Turf Care. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing general labor tasks, including loading/unloading, lifting, and moving materials in an outdoor environment in all types of weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on commercial and residential lawns, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
- Operate various pieces of equipment, such as riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, push mowers, hand tools, backpack blowers, sprayers, string trimmers, and hard edgers.
- Assist with manual labor tasks as required by the supervisor or crew leader.
Requirements:
- A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience with a commercial landscaping company is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and frequently.
- Ability to work with others and under supervision.
- Able to follow oral and/or written instructions from the supervisor or crew leader.
- Able to operate all maintenance equipment safely and proficiently.
- Able to work with environmental risks, such as heat, cold, bees, poison oak/ivy, etc.
