What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Health Urgent Care position at NORTH CENTRAL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM?
Monday- Friday 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM, Rotating on call
Position Overview:
- Completes assessments of clients in crisis within urgent care to determine appropriate level of care
- Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms
- Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care
- Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED
- Completes referrals for follow up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities
- Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Service Field or LPN/RN
- Bachelor?s Degree in like field with 2 years work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
- High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
