- Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship, programming, and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops and activities, during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to students in the Premier Scholars Program and demonstrate leadership to the North Central College community.
- Facilitate various one-on-one mentoring sessions with assigned Premier Scholar Mentees during their first academic year. Mentoring sessions are related to the successful adjustment to both academic and student life in college.

- Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or above.
- Maintain good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct.
- Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills.
- Ability to work in and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
