- Facilitate science inquiry activities and other science demonstrations
- Interact with 4th and 5th grade girls during a Saturday morning program (5-6 consecutive sessions)
- Work with a peer to facilitate the program
- Engage in weekly training sessions (1-2 hours)
- Serve as a role model
- Successful completion of SCIE 109 Science Inquiry or
- Successful completion of a North Central biology course or
- Elementary education major
- Experience with elementary school age children
