Sales Representative - Parkersburg, WV area: Primary focus on sales, merchandising and creating brand awareness of product lines (Beer, Wine, Mixers, Waters, Soft Drinks, Medicinal, Sport/Energy Drinks) of North Central Distributors, Inc. in assigned territory. Support sales teams in servicing customer via sales, merchandising, product tasting and events.
Effectively plan & execute events, trade shows, tastings, and other activities for various customers. Promote company products and events via social media
Drive revenue through effect sales and customer relationships. Effectively use POS to drive sales and brand awareness. Merchandising of product lines for customers. Maintain trade and industry partner relationships with customers and suppliers.
Hosting supplier sales representative when in assigned territory.
Plan and execute supplier & company brands at local consumer events when necessary.
Build and maintain a deep and passionate understanding of the industry specific to the company to be credible with suppliers, customers, and sales team.
Work closely with other company leaders to maximize the selling, training, and customer service opportunities across the company.
Ensure conformance with company polices for professional appearance, conduct and other requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/equivalent preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the position may be considered for substitution.
Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry, including wine, beer, terminology, and production process techniques desired.
Background or previous experience in the beverage or restaurant/bar industry a plus.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
High level of integrity, commitment, and strong work ethic.
Strong persuasive presentations skills, including the ability to publicly speak to internal and external audiences.
Passion for the industry with ability to continuously learn new brands and represent effectively to sales team and customers.
Self-motivated, work with minimal supervision, set priorities and multitask.
Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Able to work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations.
Lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climb ladders, build & rotate multi case displays, and operate various material handling equipment.
Able to work flexible ours through the week and, sometimes weekends that may require travel.
Work the week and weekend before and during local and national holidays.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
