Job Purpose and Definition Statement:
Under general supervision of the superintendent, performs a variety of difficult and responsible clerical and secretarial work which requires the use of independent decision making.
Employees in this classification are under the general supervision of the superintendent within a framework of established procedures. Some non-routine phases of work may be referred to the superintendent for advice. Decisions and determinations are based on procedures which may not be clearly defined, and work may be performed from limited instructions. The use of independent judgment is required on routine assignments. An employee in this position is subject to daily work pressures, requiring constant concentration on work which must be completed within a limited period of time.

Job Qualifications: Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Vocational Training in Office Management is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher is preferred
- Experience in office management and/or secretary background is preferred
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License and evidence of insurability
- Successfully pass district background screening

Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to effectively communicate with others and clearly express complex ideas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Serves as information liaison between the administration and the Distance Learning Program staff.
- Request, collect, scan and upload physical documents in a timely manner for enrollment requirements.
- Immunization record collection and tracking.
- Writes letters and memoranda from rough drafts, notes, or oral instruction.
- Create forms in software programs (ie: Google Drive, Excel, Synergy).
- Manage and organize complete and incomplete forms.
- Send out record requests to appropriate people in each district.
- Send records requested to appropriate families and institutions that requested records.
- Manage all administrative tasks associated with enrollment.
- Keep updated with developments in organizational enrollment policy.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the superintendent and other administrators.
- Operate office machines, including computers, scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
- Use a variety of computer software.
- Fulfills other secretarial-related duties as assumed or as assigned by the superintendent.
