What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Professional position at North Central Health Care?
The Crisis Professional (CP) Provide crisis intervention, crisis counseling for individuals and families, referral and short-term follow-up, and collaborative community consultation, and education. Perform crisis line risk assessments to evaluate and triage to the most appropriate treatment setting.
We have full time roles available. The available shifts on our units are 6:00am - 6:00pm, 6:00pm – 6:00am OR 10:00am -10:00pm. Our wages range from $20.60-$33.48 per hour based on experience, plus $1.50-$2.50 shift differential depending on shift worked.

What You’ll Do:
- Provides immediate support in on-site and mobile crisis situations for Behavioral Health Services
- Develops crisis plans based on crisis assessment information
- Collaborates with law enforcement
- Communicates effectively with all necessary personnel throughout patient care cases.
- Provides information, support, intervention, emergency services coordination, and referral for additional or ongoing services
- Documents in a detailed and timely manner the care provided in the EMR
What You Bring:
Crisis Professional I: High School Diploma, Mental Health/AODA/Nursing/Other certificate, or Associate’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
Crisis Professional II: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, psychology, or another related field with a preferred one year or work in a related field.
Crisis Professional III: Master's Degree in Human Services, social work, counseling, or another related field, with a preferred one year of work in a related field.

- Valid Wisconsin driver's license, use of a personal vehicle and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
What You’ll Get:
- Pay from $20.60 -$33.48 per hour depending on experience, plus $1.50-$2.50 shift differential depending on shift worked.
