Mechanical Engineering Technology Faculty/Program Coordinator
The BASMET program is committed to project-based learning and faculty will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to
continuously refresh courses and processes while working towards ABET accreditation. The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Technology program is offered at North Central State College’s Kehoe Center in Shelby, Ohio. Courses are delivered both day and evening. The
faculty member will deliver classes in solid mechanics, thermal/fluid science, and engineering projects. The position will commence Fall semester
2025 (8/7/25).
Essential Duties (not all inclusive): • Maintain professional relationships with students, peers, and staff
- Maintain minimum of 15 credit/18 contact hours of classroom, program.
and/or laboratory instruction per term and reflects a 40-hour
workweek. Qualifications:
• Advocate and adopt appropriate project-based learning activities • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or
in consultation with academic colleagues and external engineering technology with minimum of five (5) years of
manufacturing work experience; graduate degree in
- Collaborate and support students and graduates in seeking technology; graduate degree in an engineering related field

- Ensure that internship, cooperative and/or fieldwork experiences or mechanical engineering technology and a minimum of
