Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the Equine facility, general care of grounds and livestock, and assistance driving college vehicles based on the needs of the department. This position will be considered “as needed” based on the needs and activities of the department.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Drivers license required.

Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to produce clear and concise written communication by hand or computer.
- Ability to issue clear and concise verbal communication that is easily understood by others.
- Knowledge of and proclivity towards safe work practices.
- Possession of consistent physical strength requisite for typical tasks and responsibilities.
- Possession of consistent physical dexterity requisite for typical tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to operate vehicles with or without a loaded trailer.
- Ability to receive approval to operate college vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without mechanical assistance.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Required Experience
- Experience with small equipment usage.
- Experience with livestock (horses).
- Experience operating a motor vehicle while hauling a loaded trailer.

Subject to criminal background check. Salary : $15.00 hourly with no more than 19 hours a week. This position will be considered “as needed” based on the needs and activities of the department. Travel may be expected.
