QUALIFICATIONS :
Ohio Teaching License with proper certification at the Middle School Level with the ability to teach language arts. Integrated language arts 4-9 is preferred or the ability to obtain one prior 08 / 01 / 25
Previous experience in or knowledge of the Midview Local Schools is desired
Prior work records must demonstrate good working habits, excellent attendance record and evaluations.
Ability to provide a clear BCI / FBI background check free of convictions
JOB OVERVIEW :
The Midview Local Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative language arts teacher to fill a vacancy at Midview Middle School. A Middle School language arts teacher is responsible for delivering highly effective, differentiated instruction to a group of students with diverse needs. The successful candidate should demonstrate the knowledge and ability to develop engaging lessons that challenge and develop students on a daily basis. Differentiated grading and providing meaningful feedback to students is a crucial aspect of this position. The teacher should demonstrate a deep level of knowledge when it comes to the use of data and the State standards. The successful candidate should demonstrate a knowledge and ability to work with a diverse culture while implementing effective classroom management strategies to create a structured learning environment.
