We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative (Float). The ideal candidate will have previous experience working at a financial institution, enjoy helping members, and possess excellent communication skills.
Our Member Services Representatives are key members of the North Coast team with responsibilities including:
- Providing exceptional customer service to members in person, over the phone, and through email
- Assisting members with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution
- Educating members on credit union products and services
- Processing loan applications and opening new accounts
- Maintaining accurate member records and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions

Pay Range (depending on level of experience):
- Member Service Representative 1 - $20.41 - $26.53
- Member Service Representative 2 - $22.04 - $28.65
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working at a financial institution
- The ability to convey financial terminology in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- An interest and ability in mentoring/training less experienced team members
- Ability to travel to multiple branches in Whatcom and Skagit counties
This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
