We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional at Bright Futures Day Program, Harris House. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a cooperative attitude, initiative, and the ability to work within a team. While DSP certification is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation.
- Encourage and support individuals in their personal goals and aspirations.
- Work collaboratively with the program director and other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively.
- Cooperative attitude and initiative.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
