What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Careers Year 1 Instructor - anticipated (2025-2026 school year) position at North Country Career Center?
The Health Sciences year one Instructor establishes and teaches a Health Careers Program that is a comprehensive Vermont standard based curriculum; to incorporate industry skill standards and enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will prepare them to succeed in the Health Career industry. .
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Meets Vermont Agency of Education Standards for licensure as a Health Careers instructor.
2. Demonstrates two years’ experience in the Health Careers industry.
3. An industry recognized credential in the healthcare field.
4. Knowledge of the concepts, methods, techniques and practices associated with entry level positions in the Health Careers industry.
5. Successful completion of an approved teacher preparation program or the willingness to complete the requirements of the Vermont Career and Technical Teacher Mentor Program.
Salary & Benefits: As per Teacher’s Collective Agreement.
