What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Careers Year Two Instructor position at North Country Career Center?
The Health Sciences year Two Instructor teaches two sections of college-level Medical Terminology, one section of college-level Lifespan Development, and one LNA licensing course, with the goal of preparing all students for college or career upon graduation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Current Nursing license - Registered Nurse or higher
•Demonstrates a minimum total of six (6) years of trade experience leading to a broad base of knowledge/skills in the content area
•Teaching experience preferred
•Knowledge of concepts, methods, techniques, and practices associated with entry level positions in the healthcare industry
•Ability to work effectively with staff and students
•A general knowledge of the goals of career & technical education.
•Eligible for a Vermont Agency of Education Professional Apprenticeship License
Salary & Benefits: As per Teacher’s Collective Agreement.
