What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Care Services Manager (PCSM) position at North Country Family Health Center Inc?
The Primary Care Services Manager (PCSM) is a Registered Nurse who supervises the overall operations of community-based Primary Care and supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the North Country Family Health Center, Inc. by planning, implementing, and supporting Primary Care services. Under the direction of the Clinical Operations Officer (COO), the PCSM fosters and encourages a positive work environment by modeling the Health Center’s Brilliantly Orange culture. He/she works closely with the COO in the development and support of health programs, telehealth, policy and procedures, and quality initiatives. The PCSM assists in compliance with Department of Health, HRSA, and OSHA regulations. The PCSM supervises the LPN and MA staff and is responsible for ensuring high quality care. May assist with immunization and medication administration tasks as needed.
Requirements:Current New York State RN license with proven knowledge of patient care, access, and compliance regulations. A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical or quality program management experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Has excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications. Gives attention to detail and possesses problem resolution skills. Has a positive attitude and high energy, is a quick learner, is adaptable to change and is resourceful and proactive when identifying and resolving problems. NYS driver’s license; reliable transportation; ability to lift equipment up to 30 pounds.
