Description
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for purchasing equipment and supplies to ensure a smooth operational flow at all NoCo sites. The Supply Chain Specialist will optimize the electronic purchasing software to promote efficiencies. The Supply Chain Specialist will perform inventory management and work extensively with outside vendors to ensure compliance with contracts and service agreements. The Supply Chain Specialist will implement strategies to reduce costs and improve performance. The Supply Chain Specialist will conduct minor, routine facilities and maintenance activities for those services not outsourced to an external vendor.
Requirements
Superior working knowledge of the principles and application of computerized accounting and purchasing software. The Supply Chain Specialist will have an Associate’s Degree in a related field or two years in a finance department setting; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; attention to detail, and has organizational and planning ability; ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision; has a positive attitude and high energy; is a quick learner, is adaptable to change and is a resourceful problem solver.
