Description
North Country HealthCare (NCHC) is a teaching health center and one of Arizona's leaders in health professionals training, spearheaded by the Colorado Plateau Center for Health Professionals (CPCHP), its education department, and embedded Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The Education Program Coordinator, Continuing Education develops and supports new and existing programs and partnerships for continuing education accreditation and healthcare workforce development across the CPCHP region. The service area includes the NCHC network of community health centers and the northern counties of Arizona (Coconino, Navajo, Yavapai, and Apache), and focuses on rural and medically underserved areas.
Duties
- Build and maintain partnerships with government, healthcare, academic, private, non-profit, and other institutions.
- Design, implement, and evaluate continuing education and medical education programs.
- Lead and support meetings, conferences, and continuing education events for healthcare professionals.
- Expand continuing education programs into new communities.
- Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to Arizona AHEC Program grant requirements and accreditation standards.
- Develop policies, procedures, and implement process improvements for program effectiveness.
- Use software platforms for data collection, analysis, and program monitoring, and maintain program data for reporting.
- Foster collaborative relationships with clinic staff, healthcare organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Manage program budgets and monitor spending, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Contribute to program sustainability through grant writing, fundraising, and creating external advertising through media.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job.
- 2 years' related experience and/or training.
- Arizona driver's license required upon hire.
Compensation
Starting at $53,100/yr DOE
