This course gives you the opportunity to achieve professional development by receiving a dual certification to become a certified Home Health Aide and a Home & Community Support Services Certification – which will enable you to care for clients in the Traumatic Brain Injury and Nursing Home Transition Diversion Waiver programs.
Summary of Position:
Home Health Aides provide personal care and health related services to patients. HHA’s work in the client’s homes and assist them with:
· Personal care
· Light housekeeping, including laundry
· Exercise programs
· Vital signs
· Ostomy care
· Simple dressing changes
· Preparing and assisting with meals
· Shopping and running errands
· Companionship
Starting pay rate $18.55 per hour
Sign-on bonus of$1,000.00is available upon successful completion of specific milestones per company policy.
