Position Statement
The Workshop Logistic Specialist is responsible for all MyHealthyVT workshop logistics. This position will schedule both Zoom and in-person meetings, secure in-person venues, join initial group meetings to ensure everything is as it should be, support facilitators, disseminate participant feedback surveys, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Local provider outreach
- Arrange in-person and virtual workshop logistics
- Support workshops and schedule Zoom meetings
- Support facilitators
- Work with Vermont Department of Health (VDH) and Northern Counties Health Care (NCHC) to create an annual schedule of workshops offered
- Actively participate in MyHealthyVT (MHVT) program, attend meetings, promote workshops, increase enrollment and facilitate workshops
- Schedule workshop meetings
- Secure in-person venues
- Create workshop fliers
- Join initial workgroup meetings to ensure no technical errors
- Coordinate with MHVT Facilitator Coordination Specialist to identify/communicate with interested facilitators to align with MHVT calendar
- Create workshop calendars/schedules/zoom meeting
- Coordinate “soft hand-off” of facilitators/workshops to MHVT Enrollment Specialist, Facilitator Coordination Specialist, and Provider Outreach (Data) Specialist for next steps
- Update shared calendar as new workshops are confirmed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of organizational commitment, customer orientation, performance focus, and self-management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word required
- Proficiency in Web meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meets, etc.
Workshop Logistic Specialist: High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with coordination of self-management programs preferred. At least two years working in a related healthcare and/or wellness position preferred.
