What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at North Country Smokehouse?
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance duties along with machinery and building maintenance. This position requires the ability to multitask and be self-motivated while in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work. See something say something.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Day to day maintenance work
· Machine set up
· Machine change overs
· Perform assigned preventative maintenance
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Electrical & Mechanical experience required
· The ability to work well with your hands.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to work well with others.
· Ability to maneuver through Basic computer programs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic Principles, Equipment, Methods and Materials used in building and grounds maintenance activities.
· Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas.
· Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work.
· Basic record keeping practices.
· Communicating effectively in oral and written forms
. Able to wear safety toe shoes or boots
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Safely using and maintaining hand and power tools related to the work.
· Performing general and technical maintenance work, individually or as a member of a crew, in various areas.
· Safely operating construction equipment and vehicles.
· Reading and interpreting plans and instructions.
· Understanding and following oral and written directions.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
