What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Specialist (2025-2026 school year) position at North Country Supervisory Union?
Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with education teams in regard to Grades PK-12 student behavior including experience with conducting student observations, making classroom recommendations to education teams, developing and supporting implementation of behavior intervention plans, reviewing student behavior progress and providing staff in-service training. Must demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a Masters’ degree in the area of psychology or a related field, and be or be willing to become certified as an instructor for Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI). Knowledge and practice of Functional Behavioral Assessments.
