What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurodevelopmental Integration Specialist (2025-2026 school year) position at North Country Supervisory Union?
The Neurodevelopmental Integration Specialist will assist school teams with individualized academic/instructional, and behavioral recommendations to support the least restrictive environment and foster independence. Responsibilities may include design of visual structure to support independence and regulation; development of behavior plans; supporting the implementation of alternate curricula (e.g. VB-Mapp, STAR Autism, ABLLS); supervision of Neuro Team Assistants to support consistent implementation of plans; assistance with IEP and evaluation plan development; and provision of professional development for NCSU employees.
The qualified candidate will have experience working with children with significant neurodevelopmental disabilities (including autism); implementing structured teaching strategies; utilizing ABA instructional and behavior intervention methodologies; and data collection. The candidate must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Master’s degree preferred.
Salary and Benefits: As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement. Must have or be eligible for Vermont Special Education licensure.
