This position will be assigned to the alternative school location.
Minimum Requirements:
-Master’s degree in social work, or the equivalent.
-Supervised internship experience as per the Vermont Agency of Education licensing guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Serves as a liaison between the school, families and community agencies.
-Provides counseling and support to all students, as needed.
-Provides information regarding community services and resources to parents and staff.
-Consults with various teams such as EST, BST, and 504 to assist students.
-Presents classroom curriculum such as Act 1, as determined by administration.
-Serves on school teams to represent student and family needs.
-Consults with parents and agencies to assist students, providing referrals when needed.
Salary and Benefits: As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement.
