North County Lawn Care LLC is a professionally operated full-service Lawn and Landscaping Company that has been operating in Whatcom County since 2003. We are a year-round business that prides itself on providing high-quality, full-service landscape management, irrigation, installations, lawn care, and, in the winter, de-icing and snow plowing. Our Lawn Health division is growing, and we are seeking additional technicians with a high standard of quality, dependability, and cultural fit. Job Summary : The Fertilization Technician applies fertilizer and weed control to our client's lawns and flower beds using our new and advanced equipment. A successful candidate is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of lawn care weed control and nutrition applications, including safe handling, mixing, and transporting materials. They also enjoy diagnosing issues, educating, and providing exceptional customer care to their clients. Qualifications Valid, unexpired Washington State Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Ability to lift 25 lbs on a repetitive basis and up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis. Ability to bend, move, twist that upper and lower body frequently and for extended periods of time. 18 years or older Compensation & Benefits : Licensed Technicians starting between $28-$32 per hour (D.O.E). Overtime during the busy season. Four-day work week (Monday - Thursday, some Fridays during peak season). Medical and Vision after 90 days. Paid Holidays. Vacation time of 1 week after 90 days and 2nd week on one-year milestone! Sick time in accordance with WA State program. Year-around position, with opportunities to work in our Winter division at premium pay. Positive workplace environment.
