What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at North Dakota Adjutant General?
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and five (5) years of semiskilled or skilled building maintenance experience that includes experience in a supervisory or lead-worder capacity. A trade school certification or associates degree in facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or a related field may substitute for the experience requirement on a year for year basis.
This position requires an understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, general building systems, and grounds maintenance. Applicants should also have knowledge of safety regulations, codes and compliance requirements. Experience with maintenance scheduling, budgeting, contractor coordination and the ability to troubleshoot and repair common facility issues is helpful. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation are required.
