What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer position at North Dakota Department of Emergency Services?
Minimum Qualifications
Office of the Adjutant General is attempting to fill this position at an Engineer II level but reserves the right to underfill the position as an Engineer I level.
To be considered for an Engineer II, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture and two years of professional level work experience in engineering, architecture or a closely related field. A master's degree may substitute for one (1) year of the work experience requirement. Successful completion of the interview process, reference check and background investigation are required. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
To be considered for an Engineer I, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture or a closely related field. Successful completion of the interview process, reference check and background investigation are required. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Individuals that are graduating in May 2025 are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to individuals with the ability to be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in North Dakota or registered in another state with eligibility for registration in North Dakota.
