Facilities Management, a division of OMB, is responsible for the maintenance, repair, renovation, construction, and custodial services of the Capitol Complex located on Boulevard Avenue in Bismarck.
We are seeking a Custodian to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you will be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively, and provide outstanding service to all patrons of the state of North Dakota
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning floor surfaces, bathrooms, and fixtures
- Emptying wastebaskets
- Comfortable working around sensitive or confidential information and maintaining discretion.
- Sorting and disposing of materials according to recyclable/non-recyclable guidelines
- Maintaining adequate supply levels in storage areas and restrooms
- Dusting windows, shelves, files, and other office areas
- Washing windows, walls, and woodwork
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to check email, complete online trainings, and submit electronic timecards.
Shift hours are 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM Monday through Friday.
