Financial Systems Analyst

As a Financial Systems Analyst within the OMB Fiscal Division, you will provide functional support of financial systems and expertise in business processes to manage the accounts payable, procurement card, and travel and expense functions for the state's ERP (PeopleSoft) application. The successful candidate must be responsive and knowledgeable to guideeOMB stakeholders and other agencies and assist in overseeing the state-wide procurement card program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that financial systems run efficiently in daily business operations. .
• Offer analysis and business solutions regarding accounts payable, procurement card, and travel and expense processes and procedures to stakeholders and agencies.
• Clarify and interpret configuration details, propose business process changes when appropriate, and stay updated on emerging technologies.
• Assist state agencies, political subdivisions, and higher education entities with all state-wide PCard Program related matters.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be a clear communicator and adept in thinking critically to explain business concepts and practices. You must be highly organized while working independently and able to manage your time and priorities effectively. You must be skilled in working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in completion of your responsibilities.

To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and 2 years of professional work experience in accounting, business or finance or have 6 years of relevant experience at a professional level in accounting, business or finance.

Location: OMB utilizes a blended workplace model. Depending on the role, team members may work from home, onsite or both. The successful candidate will reside within the state of North Dakota (including the Fargo/Moorhead metro area and Grand Forks/East Grand Forks metro area) with a willingness to travel for team meetings as needed.

Hiring range:?$5,120-$7,000 per month
