Summary of Work

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas such as offices, hallways, restroom, gymnasium, pool area and classrooms.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste accordingly.
  • Clean and sanitize restroom, locker rooms and pool deck including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors, ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and other designated areas.
  • Wipe down surfaces, including tables, counters, and windowsills, to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Operate and maintain custodial equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs, painting, pool testing and seasonal grounds work.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a professional a courteous demeanor when interacting with NDSD/RC staff, students, or visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applicant will be required to become certified pool operator to test/assist with pool testing.
