Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience with reading and understanding NDDOT plans and specifications while working on construction projects. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in materials testing, construction surveying, and construction inspection.
Grand Forks summer projects include:
• Mill and asphalt overlays on various highways
• CPR on Gateway Dr., I-29
• Street reconstruction in Grand Forks
• Structure rehab on multiple projects.
• Various small projects throughout the District.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in civil/construction engineering undergraduate degree program.
• Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a valid Class D drivers license for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process, successful completion of a job function screening and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
