This is a temporary position with no paid benefits.*
All internships are paid full-time summer of 2025 positions. Optional start date of fall 2024, maximum 20 hours/week, is available.
Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience regarding fleet and equipment maintenance and repair of NDDOT Equipment, NDDOT Plow Trucks, and State Fleet vehicles for all agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
• Requires a high school diploma or GED
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in automotive or diesel mechanic, construction tech, engineering tech, engineering or related field
• Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
