Position Information
Position Summary :
The Department of Transportation, Logistics, and Finance in the College of Business at North Dakota State University seeks applications for a full-time (non-tenure track) .
Duties and Responsibilities
For Assistant / Associate Professor of Practice :
- Teach undergraduate and / or graduate courses in areas such as banking, real estate, wealth management, and other related fields, with a teaching load of six three-credit courses per academic year (60% of workload).
- Engage in service and industry outreach, including participation in internal committees and building partnerships with stakeholders in banking, real estate, and wealth management.
- Maintain professional qualifications and optionally conduct applied research, such as practitioner projects, case studies, or collaborative research with undergraduate students.
- For Lecturer :
- Teach undergraduate and / or graduate courses in similar areas, with a teaching load of eight three-credit courses per academic year (80% of workload).
- Focus on teaching excellence and service responsibilities, including committee participation and fostering industry connections in relevant fields.
