Position Information
This is a temporary non-benefited position working 32 hours per week starting in May 2025. Start date is flexible with the position ending mid-to-end of August 2025.
Description & Details :
This individual will scout field crops for insect pests and disease in the surrounding counties, read plat books, perform data entry, and other duties as assigned.
A valid driver's license is required and the individual must be at least 18 years old to operate a state fleet vehicle.
Individual must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Must be able to follow directions and have good communication skills.
Individual must be willing to learn and able to multi-task.
Individual must also be able to physically perform the job duties in variable conditions.
Work Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pm working 40 hours / week at the Langdon Research Extension Center in Langdon, ND.
Advertised Pay :
Wage : $18 / hour depending on experience.
