What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tmp-ISSAS-Visiting Scholar position at North Dakota University System?
The ISSAS intern will play a critical role in helping students from around the world adapt to life at NDSU.
- Helping international students adjust to campus life and local culture.
- Supporting the planning and execution of engagement events, social gatherings, and workshops on topics ranging from professional to cultural adjustment
- Providing administrative and clerical support, such as document management, data entry, and communication with students.
- Assisting with outreach efforts, including managing social media channels and creating promotional materials.
- Serving as a peer mentor to students, offering advice and support as they adjust to the campus and local culture.
The role of an ISSAS intern will benefit our international students and give the intern valuable experience ins student services, intercultural communication, and program coordination.
