In this role, you will be responsible for managing an alpha assignment of employer accounts by:
- Assessing risks of exposure
- Determining proper rate classification assignment
- Verifying payroll to establish premiums
- Analyzing coverage requirements
- Completing jurisdictional determinations
- Reviewing experience rate calculations
- Assist with account transfers and consolidations
- Requires four years of work experience in an underwriting-related field that included processing insurance policies or endorsements, claims adjusting, or risk management.
- College-level coursework in accounting, business, healthcare, or closely related fields may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
